The "Blue Dream" Dreamcatcher was handmade with love in the same process as my other Sacred Authentic Dreamcatchers. I gather the red willow and feathers by hand when I wander my favorite river and waterfalls. I pound real deer sinew using only my hand, a large smooth river stone, and focus. This can be a lengthy process, but once it is finished, I strip the deer sinew and twist into "rope" for the webbing. The entire web is created in prayer and protective intention for the dreamer. This particular piece is especially unique in that I created it without knowing who for. Just the hoop, web and stones sat semi-completed, waiting two months for the right feather to present itself.
The stones used are blue-green labradorite and white moonstone. Combined, these crystals bring the dreamer clearer visions, strong spiritual protection, and deepened intuition. Blue-green labradorite helps to enhance and heal the Third-Eye, Throat, and Crown Chakras. The White Moonstone will strengthen the dreamer's relationship with the moon, divine femininity, creativity, and intuitive understanding.
The feather is a chest feather from a Peregrine Falcon friend that lived nearby for a while. He left me this special gift, which inspired the completion of this piece. I pray that confident, fierce, divine perspective and awareness that lives within the spirit of the Falcon finds the right Dreamer to call this Blue Dream home.
